Project type- 1. Mining Extraction of Natural Resources and Power generation 5. Manufacturing and Fabrication

Project sub-type- 1. a) Mining of Minerals

Project Details - Public Hearing for the enhancement of production of bauxite from 340 TPA (Pre 1994) to 51,190 TPA, as Run-of-Mine (ROM) from Lamba bauxite mine in Lamba village of Kalyanpur Taluka of Jamnagar District of Gujarat. Total area of the mine: 32.38 ha. Impact due to mining and transportation activity. Impact on land area:Land degradation is possible one of the adverse impacts of open cast mining is in the form of excavated voids and also in the form of waste dumps. There may be wear and tear of the main roads connecting to the villages specially during rainy season because of running of heavy vehicles i.e. truck, tractors and bull dozers, jeeps.

Project type- 1. Mining Extraction of Natural Resources and Power generation 5. Manufacturing and Fabrication

Project sub-type- 1. b) Offshore and onshore oil and gas exploration, development and production

Project Details - Public Hearing for Drilling of 350 Development Wells. Impact on air: a number of sources are there to cause potential impacts on air quality, which are as follows: Emissions from DG sets used as part of the drilling rig; Flaring of gases primarily during the testing phase will contribute to additional air pollution; Fugitive emissions during site preparation and closure phases Emissions from vehicular movement. Possible Biological Impacts of proposed Project Impact on terrestrial fauna due to noise Project infrastructure and well development may disturb agriculture land near site. Drilling fluids, spillage, leakage and well treatment may produce chemical spillage which will disrupt agriculture of nearby farm Drilling activity may increase deposition of dust and dust settling on the vegetation may alter or limit plants' abilities to photosynthesize and/or reproduce.
